• Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer fast, free shipping for any order over R5000 in South Africa! These orderswill ship with our courier service of choice and will take 5-10 days to arrive once shipped.
We are not liable for orders not being delivered within a specific time frame when the free shipping method is used. We do not recommend shipping the product to a hotel if you need it by a specific date as we cannot guarantee the delivery date.

• Do you offer expedited shipping?

You can choose express shipping however you will need to get in touch with us directly info@nanitsouthafrica.co.za. We will get a quote from the courier company of our choice and it will be at your discretion if you would like to accept the quote as the full quote will be at your cost.

• When will my order ship?

Please note that once an order has been placed, we cannot update the address, size, or products ordered. You will receive a separate email with the tracking information, once your order ships.
Orders placed before 12PM will typically process within one to two business day and ship as follows, unless a product is on backorder, you have chosen express shipping or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Our Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all Nanit products and accessories sold by Nanit South Africa, whether purchased online or in-store.

6 Month Quality Guarantee (All products sold as NEW) 

Our product range carries a 6-Month Quality Guarantee for all NEW products.  

If an item is faulty, unsafe, or not fit for purpose, you may choose a repair, replacement, or refund. Should the item be found to be defective, we will arrange collection or reimburse reasonable return costs.  

A product is considered defective if it: 

• Does not power on, 
• Fails to function as intended under normal use, 
• Has a manufacturing fault, or 
• Is not fit for its intended purpose. Fit for intended purpose means that a Nanit product must be capable of performing the basic functions that a reasonable consumer would ordinarily expect from a smart baby monitoring device, when used under normal conditions. This is in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and subject to the technical requirements such as power supply, compatible devices, and a stable internet connection.  
• A product will not be regarded as defective or not fit for purpose where performance issues arise from factors outside the product itself, including but not limited to Wi-Fi instability, incompatible devices, third-party software updates, incorrect installation, or use outside the manufacturer’s specifications.

Exclusions:  

Please note the following are not considered defects under the CPA: 

• Wi-Fi or internet connectivity issues •Incompatibility with home networks, routers, or mobile devices 
• App-related issues caused by operating system updates 
• Subscription features or software services provided by Nanit Inc. 
• User error, incorrect installation, or failure to follow setup instructions 

We will, however, make reasonable efforts to assist with troubleshooting.  

Online Purchases  

For online purchases, you may cancel your order within 5 business days of delivery. Goods must be unused, unassembled and in original, resaleable condition. This includes all accessories, mounts and manuals. The return costs will be for customer’s account. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation. 

This does not apply to: 

• Safety-critical or hygiene-sensitive goods once opened or used 
• Products that have been assembled, installed, or activated 

The Nanit device must not be linked to a user account or must be fully deregistered prior to return. Nanit South Africa would be able to assist in delinking the user account to the device, however there could be costs to do so. It should be noted that a linked device constitutes a used product. It is therefore at the discretion of Nanit South Africa to grant a refund for a linked device after inspection of the product.  

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation. 

Incorrect or Damaged Items 

If we send the wrong item, we’ll fix it at no extra cost to you. Please notify us within 7 days of delivery or collection. Damage must be reported before installation or use, where reasonably possible 

 Change-of-Mind Returns  

Change-of-mind returns are only accepted at the discretion of Nanit South Africa. Requests are to be formally made within 7 days of purchase. Goods must be unused, unassembled and in the original, resaleable condition. The return costs are for the customer’s account. Refunds or store credit are offered at our discretion.  

The following are excluded from change-of-mind returns: 

•  Baby monitors once activated 
• Any item showing signs of use
• Personalised items 

Hygiene & Safety-Related Items 

For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless defective: 

• Nanit breathing wear, bands, or sleep accessories once opened 
• Items sealed for hygiene purposes that have been opened or used 

Refunds and Returns Process

All returned goods are subject to inspection before a refund, replacement or repair is processed. Please ensure that the product is returned with all accessories and packaging.  

Refunds are issued via EFT, and processing usually takes between 5 – 10 working days.  

Consumer Responsibilities 

Consumers are responsible for using products according to manufacturer instructions and ensuring correct installation (especially for car seats and electronic products). Inspecting goods upon delivery or collection and reporting issues promptly.

DBA: Nanit (“Nanit”), located at 244 Fifth Avenue, Suite #2702, New York, New York 10001, USA,+1-866-MYNANIT,warrants to the owner of the enclosed product that the product contained in this box (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery following the original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If the Product fails to conform to this Limited Warranty during the Warranty Period, Nanit will, at its sole discretion, either (a) repair or replace any defective Product or component; or (b) accept the return of the Product and refund the money actually paid by the original purchaser for the Product. Repair or replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product or components, at Nanit’s sole discretion. If the Product or a component incorporated within it is no longer available, Nanit may, at Nanit’s sole discretion, replace the Product with a similar product of similar function. • TOTAL SATISFACTION RETURN POLICY. If you are the original purchaser of the Product and you are not satisfied with this Product for any reason, you may return it in its original condition within forty-five (45) days of the original purchase and receive a full refund.
• WARRANTY CONDITIONS; HOW TO GET SERVICE IF YOU WANT TO CLAIM UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Before making a claim under this Limited Warranty, the owner of the Product must (a) notify Nanit of the intention to claim by visiting nanit.com/support duringthe Warranty Period and providing a description of the alleged failure, and (b) comply with Nanit’s return shipping instructions. Nanit will have no warranty obligations with respect to a returned Product if it determines, in its reasonable discretion after examination of the returned Product, that the Product is an Ineligible Product (defined below).
• WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER. This Limited Warranty does not cover the following (collectively “Ineligible Products”): Products marked as “sample” or “Not for Sale”, or sold “AS IS”; or Products that have been subject to: (a) modifications, alterations, tampering, or improper maintenance or repairs; (b) handling, storage, installation, testing, or use not in accordance with the Terms of Service or other instructions provided by Nanit; (c) abuse or misuse of the Product; (d) breakdowns, fluctuations, or interruptions in electric power or the telecommunications network; or (e) Acts of God, including but not limited to lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane. This Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, including batteries, unless damage is due to defects in materials or workmanship of the Product, or software (even if packaged or sold with the product). Nanit recommends that youuse only authorized service providers for maintenance or repair. Unauthorized use of the Product or software can impair the Product’s performance. This Limited Warranty does not apply to anything other than the Products, including any software, even if packaged or sold with the Products. Software distributed by Nanit (including, but not limited to system software) is not covered under this Limited Warranty. Refer to the licensing agreement accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use. Nanit does not warrant that the operation of the Products will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. THE PRODUCTS ARE NOT MEDICAL DEVICES AND ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE USED AS A MEDICAL DEVICES, AND ARE NEITHER REGULATED NOR APPROVED BY THE U.S. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION. THE PRODUCTS ARE NOT DESIGNED TO DETECT, DIAGNOSE, PREVENT, TREAT OR CURE ANY DISEASE OR OTHER MEDICAL CONDITION. THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES (AS DEFINED BELOW) ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT OR ADULT SUPERVISION AND CARE. THE NANIT ONLINE SERVICES (“SERVICES”) PROVIDE YOU CERTAIN TYPES OF INFORMATION (“PRODUCT INFORMATION”) RESULTING FROM YOUR USAGE OF THE PRODUCTS OR OTHER PERIPHERALS CONNECTED TO YOUR PRODUCTS (“PRODUCT PERIPHERALS”). THE TYPE OF PRODUCT PERIPHERALS THAT MAY BE CONNECTED TO YOUR PRODUCT MAYCHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE DISCLAIMERS ABOVE, ALL PRODUCT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, “AS IS”, AND “AS AVAILABLE”. PRODUCT INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICES IS NOT INTENDED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR DIRECT MEANS OF OBTAINING THE INFORMATION. FOR EXAMPLE AND WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, A NOTIFICATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS NOT INTENDED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR AUDIBLE AND VISIBLE INDICATIONS IN THE HOME AND ON THE PRODUCT, NOR FOR A PARENT CHECKING ON THE CHILD, NOR FOR AN ASSESSMENT PERFORMED BY A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.
• YOUR RIGHTS AND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights that vary by state, province, or jurisdiction. If you are located in Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
